I remember my first day standing in class and thinking you want me to do what with my feet? Poses were challenging, the emotions were electrifying and I left each day energized and at peace. This was quite different than the constant pain and fatigue I usually felt.
For me, it was a life changer, a wake-up call and the epiphany I needed in order to recover from several illness, get through life in one piece, and overcome adversity. All that from one four letter word.
Therapeutic Yoga is a life choice, a commitment to feeling, thinking and moving differently, and a way to view the world through a different lense.
I am a Trauma Informed Therapeutic Yoga Coach, and trauma expert. I coach you though several types of yoga, all geared toward making you a better version of yourself.
My classes are private, geared
toward coaching, dealing with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Panic Attacks, and many other ailments. Classes are located on the peaceful and beautiful Assiniboine River.
I have over 500 hours of certified yoga training and am working toward finishing 1000 hours this year. This will include a certification in Therapeutic Yoga, Yoga Therapy, and Oseopathic Manual Therapy.
I am certified with the Canadian Yoga Alliance, and soon with the International Yoga Therapists Association as well as CYA-YT by the end of this year.
